Welcome To Love Hackaton
Johann, Tech Evangelist at Stylight and Alex, founder at Cook And Code, will welcome you to the first Love Hackathon. They will give an overview of what to expect in the coming 24h and a detailed agenda of the logistic and activities.
Overview of the lovetoy industry - Amorelie
Julian will give a short overview of the current lovetoy industry and how tech can change the way we share intimacy. We will use the results from AMORELIE’s first SexTech Hackathon in July to give a structured approach to how humans love with technology. After, we will look at examples within and outside of the industry to broaden the way we can think about SexTech and allow for a short Q&A to jump into deeper discussions.
Microsoft Bot Framework
The Microsoft Bot Framework enables everyone to build intelligent bots into various channels: Facebook, Skype, Slack, etc.). Daniel showcases current scenarios and introduces the topic Bot Development.
Follow your curiosity, have fun, learn plenty
What the Jury thinks is irrelevant (so follow your curiosity, have fun, learn plenty. And if you’re lucky great things might happen).
'What is around me?' Location and context awareness with Beacons and Physical Web
An introduction to location and context aware applications using Google's Physical Web and Eddystone beacon standard. The brief talk introduces the concept of location awareness and the unique role of beacons in that arena, and then demonstrates the method to broadcast a simple landing page associated with a particular location. The talk ends with a short video on the projected and pilot applications being implemented with this technology.
We will give you 30 minutes to brainstorm ideas and either propose your idea to other or join someone's idea. You'll have post-its and markers at your disposition. Each idea that will be pitched should be on a post-it with the name of the person who will pitch.
During the pitching session, each idea creator will have 1 min to pitch its idea. The staff will then stick the post-it on a balloon to create a temporary booth used after the pitching session for people to create teams
Each idea holder will have a temporary booth in the form of a balloon with a Post-it describing the idea on it. Attendees can ask more questions to the idea creator and choose to join the team. Teams will be between 2 and 5 persons. Each attendee can only work on one project and will put one of his 2 nametags on the balloon.
Go to bed!
It's proven scientifically: The more rested you are the more prolific you'll be the next day 😉
Doors will open to a day full of hacking and fun!
Welcome To Love Hackaton
Recap of the day for those who could not join the evening before. We'll quickly go through the logistics and the schedule for the day.
Get some energy!
We will have a breakfast served by 3Bears - take the time to talk to others around some amazing muesli/porridge!
You got an idea but still not a team? We'll give you 1 minute exactly to pitch your idea and hang it on a balloon for others to join your team.
By 10am we expect everyone to have joined a team. You'll have exactly 8h to give your best shot at making your idea into a prototype.
Grab a bite
One of our sponsor got you covered for lunch! Enjoy some food but keep hacking!
